Career Fair 2012
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing will host its annual Career Fair on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 11:30 -1 pm. This event will provide the opportunity for recruiters to meet, interview and interact with many of the best and brightest student nurses in Virginia. VCU will have approximately 90 accelerated students graduating with their BS in December 2012, 50 traditional students graduating with their BS in May 2013. We also have approximately 90 students completing their MS degree in December and May.
The Career Fair is a 1.5 hour event. We will invite nurse recruiters from health care agencies from across the Commonwealth and beyond. Graduate Nursing Schools will also be represented.
VCU is the first Career Fair in the East Coast Consortium of Nursing Schools annual Career Fair. Other members of the consortuim offering career fairs are Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Howard, Georgetown, Catholic, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Virginia, New York University, and Boston College.
