Funded Projects
Faculty members seek local funding to support
pilot studies in their area of research.
Junior faculty members often launch their
research programs by seeking intramural
funding. Senior faculty members garner research
support to pilot and test new interventions
and instruments or test with new populations
or different outcome measures. In most cases,
these intramurally funded projects provide
the preliminary data necessary for obtaining
large foundation or federal grants. |
