If you are an NIH-funded investigator or trainee, visit the Office of Research site that contains information about the NIH Open Access Policy. Compliance is mandatory beginning April 7, 2008. You must deposit into PubMed Central all peer-reviewed publications reporting work that was supported by the NIH.
Click on the button for Human and Animal Subject Protection in the Resources for Researchers section, and then click on “IRB Protocol Examples”. Behind the firewall you will find examples of IRB protocols that should be useful in helping you prepare your human subject protocols. These are annotated for easy access. Soon we will be similarly posting successful grant applications and summary statements.
