P20 pilot studies

Studies from the National Institute of Nursing Research P20 Center "Biobehavioral Research in Critical Health Experiences" (NR008988, N. McCain, PI, 2004-2009) focused on exploring the interaction between biology and behavior or optimizing the interplay between these human systems were supported on a competitive basis. Pilot and feasibility studies included investigations of biological and behavioral measures, including microbiological, immunological, neurological, cardiopulmonary, neuroendocrine, psychobehavioral, spiritual, and developmental, that are consistent with currently funded research programs.
