Overview
Mrs. Hart has been a long time adjunct faculty member and alumna of the School of Nursing. She joined Family and Community Health Nursing as a Collateral faculty member in fall 2004. She earned her BS, MS and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certificate here at VCU. She was commissioned as a Parish Nurse at Shenandoah University. She has extensive experience in pediatric nursing. Most recently, her focus has been on children in Richmond Public Schools with the School's Community Nursing Organization, as well as much volunteer work with Head Start and Three Rivers Health Families on the Middle Peninsula. Prior to that, Mrs. Hart was the PNP in the Infectious Disease Clinic at VCU Medical Center, caring for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS. She has also worked as a staff nurse in the Neonatal ICU and Labor and Delivery.
