Advisor to the Oregon Hill Association James River Greenway and Community Garden Projects. This volunteer position includes developing grant applications to fund the projects, designing the garden layout, selecting the appropriate plants and propagating plant varieties. The Greenway is now part of VCU’s master plan.
Member of several advisory committees to King William County Public Schools, including American Indian Education, Talented and Gifted, Parents for a Powerful Education and Multicultural.
Survey design consultant to Virginia Union University. The survey was given to Richmond School System teachers as a study of the efficacy of transition programs for culturally diverse youth with disabilities.
