After 27 years as a school of nursing faculty member at both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Wyoming, Dr. Sharron Humenick was recruited to VCU to serve as a chair of the School of Nursing's Department of Maternal Child Health (1999-2003) and served as a faculty member until the spring of 2006.
