Complete an application for AANP.

Go onto the AANP site to be sure you are following the correct guidelines to apply for this exam. Guidelines can be found in the certification catalog. To obtain a catalog, call the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners at (512)442-5202 or visit their web site for an online catalog at www.aanp.org. In the catalog, you will find directions to apply, an application, exam dates and fees.

Complete an on-line request form for the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing.

After your have reviewed the application process from AANP, the next thing you want to do is fill out the FCHN department on-line request form in order to receive important documents you must need to complete your application process with AANP. Using the information you provide, the department will generate any necessary documents needed to include with your application.

Transcripts

After you have graduated, you will need to obtain an official copy of your transcript and mail the to AANP with your application. Please note that each student is responsible for obtaining their own transcripts.
