The Maternal Child Nursing department has several programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels of
studies in the areas of child health, women's health and family health.
Our child health graduates continue to have a 100% pass rate on the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. This is 3 years in a row at
100% and a 10 year average of 97 percent!
Our backgrounds
include:
BSN: Traditional students who are high school graduates non-traditional students
who are older when entering college, RN to BSN student who received advanced
credit as they work for a BSN
MSN: Students with a degree in another field who enter nursing while studying at
the graduate level, Registered Nurses with BS degrees in Nursing or another
field who want to become advanced practice nurses, postmaster's students who
want another specialty
PhD: Student with a BS or MS in Nursing who want a career in research. |
