Traditional BS Program Master's Program - General Information
The Traditional Undergraduate Program is designed to provide a basic nursing education curriculum to individuals who are seeking their first degree in nursing. The School of Nursing offers a program of study in advanced practice nursing leading to a Master of Science degree.
The RN-BS Weekend Program Accelerated Master's Program
The RN-BS Weekend Program lets Registered Nurses (RNs) with a diploma or associate's degree in Nursing earn their BS in Nursing while working full-time. With classes one weekend a month and locations across Virginia or online, it's flexible and convenient! The Accelerated Master's Program students have earned a baccalaureate degree in another discipline and now wish to enter nursing to prepare for advanced practice roles in nursing such as the nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist.
Accelerated BS Program Traditional Master's Program
The program is designed for individuals with a bachelor’s in another discipline who now wish to study nursing.  Entry level Master’s Program for RNs with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Honors Program Master's Program for Non-BSN RN's
If you are an academically talented student, then we invite you to explore the Honors College. Entry level Master’s Program for RNs with a Baccalaureate degree in a field other than Nursing

    Post Master's
The School of Nursing offers a post-master’s certificate with concentration areas for individuals seeking additional certification or specialization in nursing.
  Ph.D. Program
    The Ph.D. Program is ranked 48th by U.S. News & World Report among the nation's best graduate nursing programs.
