Graduate application information
Once you are ready to begin your application, initiate the process online. VCU’s self-managed graduate application process places the responsibility on the applicant to collect and return all supporting materials directly to the Graduate School:

| Traditional MS | GRE scores are required if cumulative UG GPA is less than 3.25 |
| Accelerated Master's | SAT, ACT or GRE scores are required to be considered for admission to the BS portion of the Accelerated Master’s Program. (see Policy 5.1.1) |
| RN-MS | GRE scores are required if cumulative GPA is less than 3.25 upon completion of BS portion of RN-MS program. |
| Post-Master's | None |
| PhD | A minimum total GRE score of 800 on verbal and quantitative. |
