Sigma Theta Tau
Welcome
The mission of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide.
The Gamma Omega Chapter was established at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1978. The chapter offers its members and the greater community opportunities to expand nursing knowledge, scholarship, and service through professional networking opportunities, scholarships, research grants and chapter excellence awards. Chapter membership is open to current nursing students as well as nurse clinicians and nurse researchers. For more information on becoming a member, please see our guidelines for membership.
