RN-BS Weekend Program

Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) with a diploma or associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited (NLNAC) program? Our RN-BS Weekend Program is designed for nurses like you! Interested? Just fill out our Interest Form, and we will be happy to contact you!

The RN-BS Weekend Programs lets you earn your BS in Nursing while working full-time. With classes one weekend a month and locations across Virginia or online, it’s convenient. It’s flexible, too: You can earn your BS in Nursing in as little as three semesters, or as long as six years.

To meet the prerequisites, you can transfer your General Education credits from any accredited community college, college or university.

Also, you can enter the RN-BS Weekend Program with only 41 of the General Education credits, and earn the rest while enrolled. And you can go ahead and apply while you’re still earning your 41 credits. As long as you complete your 41 credits before you begin the RN-BS Weekend Program, that’s fine!

And remember: If you need credits in Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, or Microbiology, you can earn those credits by taking the NLN (National League of Nursing) exam.
